My name is Paulmarq. It rhymes with hallmark. Don't get confused by the "q". It is one word and means "small warrior".
If you can't tell, my favorite color is green, hence the site. Green is a color that embodies growth and balance. I strive to incorporate both values in my life daily.
I've been practicing massage since 2000 and studied at The Astin Center in Richardson, TX. Massage was a calling that followed me until I finally said yes. It took 3 tries to get into school. I do feel that I went to school at the right time and met people who have enriched my life greatly. Sometimes life is about the journey, not the destination.
I am experienced in Swedish massage,Deep tissue, Trigger point therapy, Hot stone massage, Shiatsu, Reflexology, and Myofascial release.
I am Licensed by Texas Department of State Health Services and have massaged many types of clients - Body builders, Athletes, runners, bikers, patients recovering from injuries, PTSD sufferers and of course those that just want to relax. As a Reiki Master, I work to bring balance to those who may have low chi or "life energy" and helping those who may be suffering from issues of shame or "less than". We are all worthy of love.
I bring my experience as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor specializing in Yoga and Pilates to the massage table. My approach is holistic, so we may discuss anything from nutrition and stress reduction to artistic expression and proper elimination. We can discuss some things you may do at home to keep your body in balance.
I am an aromatherapist and make my own oils, sugar scrubs and sea salt scrubs.
Every session is customized to your body on that day, and communication is very important to get the best out of a session. I welcome your questions and comments and look forward to seeing you on my table.
