What should I do before a massage?
What should I do during the massage?
- Nothing. This is your time to be pampered.
- Relax and allow me to move your head, arms, and legs as needed.
- When/ if active assisted stretching is performed, your participation may be necessary for an effective stretch... I will ask if your assistance is needed.
- Breathe deeply, especially while I’m working on tense or tight areas. Breathing brings fresh oxygen to that area, releasing the muscles. Holding your breath keeps tension in the body. If you hold it too long, you might pass out.
- Please communicate your level of comfort with the pressure and room temperature.
